Your New Debit Card is Coming!

On Monday, July 27th we will be transitioning to a newly designed debit card for all customers. This page is to provide you with a resource as you get acclimated with your new card.

Your new debit card has a new card number and expiration date, as well as enhanced features, including Tap to Pay, mobile card controls, better security and – coming soon –  digital wallet capability.

Tap to Pay - Because Every Second Counts

Simply tap your card at checkout and you’re done! For most purchases, when using Tap to Pay there’s no inserting your card or entering a PIN. It’s the same secure technology you love in your smartphone, now built right into your card. Perfect for coffee runs, quick errands, and when you’re juggling bags (or kids!).

Smarter Control From Your Phone

Your new card works seamlessly with enhanced features in our mobile app and online banking:

  • Instantly turn your card on/off if it’s misplaced
  • Set spending limits (within bank defined maximums) and alerts
  • Freeze/unfreeze your card with one tap

Next-Level Security for Peace of Mind

Your safety is our priority. Your new card includes:

  • Advanced fraud detection that learns your spending patterns
  • Real-time alerts for suspicious activity
  • Secure chip technology that’s nearly impossible to counterfeit

Digital Wallet Capability (Coming Soon)

Add your new debit card to your favorite digital wallet. Instead of carrying physical cards, you can use your digital wallet to make purchases in stores, online, and in apps. Popular digital wallet services include Apple Pay for iPhone users and Google Pay for Android users. Digital wallets use advanced security features like encryption and tokenization to protect your card information, making them a safe and convenient alternative to traditional payment methods.

A digital wallet (also called a mobile wallet or e-wallet) is a secure app on your smartphone, smartwatch, or other device that stores your payment card information digitally. Instead of carrying physical cards, you can use your digital wallet to make purchases in stores, online, and in apps. Popular digital wallet services include Apple Pay for iPhone users and Google Pay for Android users. Yes, both Apple Pay and Google Pay are designed with multiple layers of security. When you make a purchase, both services use tokenization—a device-specific number and unique transaction code—so your actual card number is never stored on your device or shared with merchants. Every transaction requires authentication through biometrics Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or your device passcode, preventing unauthorized use.
