With all of the uncertainty we’re facing, I wanted to take a moment and remind all of our customers of one thing that IS certain… Bank of Lexington is committed to being there for YOU every step of the way. While we’ve temporarily transitioned routine day-to-day activity to be completed in our drive-thrus, we want to inform you of all the ways you can stay connected to the Bank and manage your finances remotely.

Online Banking– Our online banking platform gives you the convenience of knowing what’s going on with your account 24/7/365. You can view 6 months of account activity along with images of any posted checks and deposits. Transaction history can be downloaded into various formats making it easy to upload into Quicken, Quickbooks, or even into Excel. Transfers may be performed between any of your Bank of Lexington accounts for immediate access. Transfers submitted before 10pm EST will process the same day, and those submitted after 10pm EST will be scheduled and processed the next morning.  You can also pay bills, view e-statements, and sign up for email or text alerts.  Click here to sign up for our online banking services.  

Bill Payment– Pay virtually anyone using our Bill Payment platform. Payments can process in one of two ways- electronic or paper check. Most payees accept electronic payments, and these are processed in 1 business day. You will see the debit to your account when the payment processes. For those payees that do not accept electronic payments, paper checks are mailed via USPS and will typically arrive within 5-7 business days. The paper checks post to your account just as the checks you write do, when the payee actually deposits or cashes the check. Need to send money to a friend or family member but don’t have their account information? No problem. You can send money by email or text message. Simply enter their email address or phone number and the recipient will securely provide their account information. These payments are sent electronically and processed in 1 business day. Within Bill Pay you have the ability to set up one-time or recurring payments so you’re always in control. You’ll also have access to see payment history and pending payments. eBills are another neat feature within Bill Pay. eBills allow you to view billing statements from payees and will alert you of the dates and amounts due from your billing statement.

eStatements– With eStatements you have the ability to stop receiving paper statements in the mail and start viewing them online. Each month your enhanced statement will post to your online banking when your statement cuts. No more waiting for the mail. You’ll still be able to see the complete statement along with images of any checks or deposits posted during the statement cycle. After you enroll, the system will start to save up to 24 months of statement history. You can also set up additional recipients to receive copies of your statement. For example, if you have a CPA, you can easily add them as a recipient and each month when your statement is ready they will receive an email giving them secure access to view the statement.

Alerts- Stay up to speed on what’s going on with your account by setting up email or text alerts. The Bank will automatically send alerts for things such as password resets and phone number changes but you also have the ability to turn on numerous other alerts such as balance notifications, insufficient funds and ACH activity notifications. Wanting to know when a specific item clears? We have an alert for that too!

Mobile Banking– Our “I Bank with BOL” mobile app is the easiest way for you to stay connected while on the go. Mobile banking offers most of the same features as our online banking and MORE. You can deposit checks while on the go. Simply endorse the back of the item and snap a picture of the front and back, and send it to us.  It’s that easy! Our newest mobile banking feature allows you to send a secure message to the bank and we can respond in a two way text message style.  Search the Apple App Store or Google Play for “I Bank with BOL MoBOL”

ATM Services– Don’t forget about our ATMs. We have 3 full service ATMs, one at each of our Lexington locations. Here you can quickly withdrawal cash and our brand new image enabled ATMs allow you to deposit cash or checks without the need to put everything into an envelope. Simply scan in your checks or cash one item at a time and you’re all set. In addition to the Bank of Lexington ATMs, you also have access to all SUM ATMs surcharge free. You can visit or download the SUM ATM app to find locations near you.

Cash Management Business Customers- If you’re a business, we haven’t forgotten about you either. You have access to the same features mentioned above- some with added features and capabilities suited for a business. In addition we offer remote deposit capture and ACH origination services to those that qualify. Give us a call and we’ll be happy to assist.
